The Illinois District Mixed Team Bowling Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Brunswick Zone Lanes, 2075 Algonquin Road in Algonquin, Illinois. Dinner and cocktails immediately follow at the Rathskeller in Turner Camp. Lasagna dinner will be prepared by the chefs of Elgin Turners.
The entry fee is $20 per person; team total is $80. This includes a $9 bowling fee, $6 prize fee and $5 cost of dinner. Entries must be received by May 29th, 2011 with full payment of the entry fee made payable to ILLINOIS DISTRICT TURNERS. Return the attached sign-up form to Jack Bucaro, Rt. 3 Box 238, Algonquin, IL 60102. The number of teams to bowl is limited so please sign up early. It will be on a first-in basis.
Tournament Rules
- Tournament is open to all Illinois Turner Members and their guests.
- Averages for this tournament will be your highest verifiable 2009-2010 average from the bowling season. If you have no average, you may use your 2010-2011 average. If you have no league average, men will use a 160 average and women will use 135 for their tournament average.
- This is a non-sanctioned tournament.
- Handicap will be based on 90% of 210. No maximum handicap.
- Prizes will be paid out the same day at the dinner following the tournament.
- Teams will consist of four (4) bowlers of which at least one (1) bowler must be of the opposite sex.
- The tournament will be a 1-squad event and will be bowled on June 4, 2011 at the Brunswick Zone in Algonquin, Illinois.
